S7 IMEI Blacklisted?
#1
So I was recently given a s7 which was obviously lost/stolen and I can't use a sim card in the phone because the product number/IMEI number is blacklisted... anyone have knowledge on changing the number and or un-blacklisting it from the networks so that I can use it!? :)

I believe if you can get the phone rooted you could swap an IMEI onto it from another phone compatible with that network. Requires a donor phone.

Do you have any videos or guides that I could run through? Heart

I'm using mobile so can't find videos but you should find everything you need right there. Just be careful you don't brick the phone.

There are a few programs that you can use to re-write the IMEI but if you haven't done it before I don't suggest trying it on your s7 as you can easily brick it. There are services out there that can repair the imei for you, the price ranges depending on the model. I know of one, but I would suggest just doing a quick Google search on imei repair. Best of luck man.
